Very good food and environment

We did book the table, we met a woman from the day tour that she walk in and could not get a table. The sashime for 2 is just amazing, 1500yen but with at least 7-8 kinds of fish, and there were 4-5 kinds of different parts of tuna, so yummy and fatty~~

Totally disappointing as we were told it was full house for the whole week.

Great place! Made a reservation the night before but only managed to get a 9.30pm slot. We ordered the fatty tuna set, beef sushi, sea grapes, fried rice with ishigaki beef and some meat skewers. All were very good! Price was reasonable too. The girl who spoke English was very friendly. For parking, you have to ask them for directions if you are unfamiliar. The Carpark is a few blocks away.

Great atmosphere inside, 3 floors and as usual friendly staff, spoke solid English. The food was tasty, fish felt fresh. Prices are average, count 15$ for a dinner. Quite loud, what makes it typical Japanese as we learned. Make a reservation, even tho we were here in winter and during the week, we barely got a place. Must do as a dinner spot!

It was the best restaurant in Ishigaki Island! The taste, freshness and attitude of the clerk were the best! I asked various things, but I think the quality was above average. It seemed like a store that needed a reservation, it was crowded all the time, but I was lucky to put it in!

Good good at good prices, fast service but very difficult to get a booking

The store is quite large but full of customers. The reason is that the dishes are delicious, cheap and hearty. The sashimi was wonderful, Ji Mami tofu was homemade or very tasty compared to the others, and the boiled fish was so big that I could not imagine a thousand yen! I want to go there again, but I can't get enough reservations. It is 5 ☆ without complaint if I always put it.

My first choice restaurant in ishigaki!

Food was out of this world and the service really prompt and excellent. We had a great birthday dinner here!

Hitoshi is a well-known store that is very popular with tourists that any islander knows.The tuna is very good. I think it's almost impossible to go there on the day of the event and enter it immediately.It is difficult for even the islanders to make a reservation, and it is difficult to connect by phone.The shop is always crowded, but the food and drinks are fast and the taste is delicious, so I am always satisfied.I always order tuna red sashimi.I ordered an older brother who passed by while sticking the menu with my finger.Do you mix medium and large toro in red meat? I was asked, so there was such an OP! ! I thought that I would put two pieces each, but the amount jumped more than I imagined rather than just ordinary lean meat.If you are concerned about the budget, you may want to check the price first.I also recommend spinach salad and somen champuru!Some of the items on the menu are half size, so it's easy for one person to eat!

One of the best restaurants in Ishigaki. I went to the main store three years ago and found Ishito branch, which is a branch office. Tuna is good. We also had sashimi, oysters and fried rice.It is delicious from edamame coming out of Otoshi. All the menus are delicious, but I can't eat them all. Had a good time with Sochu.The place seemed wider than the main store. I visited without a reservation because it was about 10 o'clock at night.If we can go back next time, we will try more menus. Thank you.

Quite simply some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had. I tried the recommended assorted sashimi, it was incredibly fresh and came with a few lovely additions including the umi budou which I love! I was alone and went in right at the start so I got in without a reservation but if you want to be assured of a seat (especially if you’re in a group) then definitely make a reservation. It’s a tightly run operation! Well worth it though and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Too popular! The food is fine but the strong Tabelog score and other reviews make this place ridiculous rushed, you are getting hassled to leave after one hour. Avoid is you would like a relaxed evening.

Really good food, but reservation is a must.

There are lots of high ratings for Hitoshi and on TripAdvisor this restaurant is currently number one, so I was really excited when they were able to accommodate my reservation.I must say that the price point is the main selling point as you can get toro and Ishigaki beef for a cheap price, however you get what you pay for.Now I'm not sure if the quality has declined or if I was simply unlucky but I cannot for the life of me see how any of the food is of high quality (which the other reviewers claim). The toro had lots of inedible tendons, the beef was mediocre (sauce was alright) and the "giant shellfish" was horribly fishy and I could not finish it.I think the high ratings set my expectations kinda high.. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I suggest that you skip this place; there are plenty of better restaurants which are better deserving of your time and money.

It opens at 5 pm in the evening, but it is almost full of reserved customers. It seems to be crowded even on weekdays, so it's better to make a reservation. The taste was a little thick, but all are delicious. The sashimi platter was cheap and delicious!

It was nice when we went. You'll need to book a day or 2 in advance as it's very popular in the evenings. They have an all you can drink deal...main reason it's busy in the evening. Food was OK. Think locals like the atmosphere. You'll need to take your shoes off when going here. Fairly casual

Mixed bag... You get what you'd get in an izakaya in Tokyo. Not better, not worse. And for roughly the same price. You always expect the sea food to be more amazing in small country side cities, but it is not the case here.Staff is nice and diligent, atmosphere pretty good. Worth eating there if you are around.

Everything was delicious!The particularly recommended grilled tuna with sesame was very juicy with fat on it.Personally, the mozuku tempura has chive and carrots, and it tasted a little different from other stores, so it's delicious, so I recommend it ♪When I make a reservation, the telephone does not connect easily. Also, I can't use credit cards, so I thought it would be nice if it could be a little more convenient.

The best izakaya I've been to! The fatty tuna is the best and so cheap! Came 3 times in a week! Better reserve in advance because they get full fast!

Is delicious.Though always deceived by the word of mouth, this is really cheap and delicious, the tuna grips and sashimi are delicious as much as Osaka's Naka Toro. Of course other menus are also delicious, but the time limit is strict, so if you do not ask early, you will have time immediately. The only payment is cash. I was a little worried that on the way back I was convinced that the two-person customer was refused and that the quintet was okay. I don't know, but reservations are mandatory, customer service is reasonable. I wanted to go again.

One of the best or maybe the best Izakaya restaurant in Ishigaki. Doesn't matter what it was - fish, meat or rice dishes- all were amazing. Reservations are mandatory. Prices are very fair.

Good quality and wide variety for a very reasonable price! Would recommend to try once, but gets crowded easily. Went on a Wednesday night at 630pm but was only able to reserve a table for 9. Must try in ishigaki! Would recommend umi infused noodles and tuna sushi. Beef fried rice was not bad as well

Lovely pub! It was so crowded so luckily we made reservation. The car park is two blocks away. A bit hard to order as the today special and special dishes were all in Japanese hanging on the wall. We tried several dishes on their English menu and blindly picked several on the wall. They were delicious !!!! Price was very reasonable even we drank sake also. Recommend their beef ! So delicious.

If you asked for a casses call over the phone on the day, you could get a seat! It seems to be a popular store, so the store was crowded. You can eat delicious sashimi and sushi at a low price. Perhaps because it was a shared seat, I was given the slip by mistake for the next customer. I don't think that the breakdown of the item ordered on the slip is written, so I think that mistakes are likely to occur. I want you to be careful. Payment is cash only.
